The Well Tavern & Bistro in Wellard only 5 mins from Sunrise!

 

Less than six months ago, in late November 2018, “The Well” opened for trading giving residents of Wellard WA and surrounds another quality option for an enjoyable and social lifestyle, especially when there is great summer Wellard weather.

 

 

Adjacent to the Wellard Train Station, The Well is only 5km -or about a six minute drive- from Sunrise at Wellard a relatively new land estate in Perth.

 

 

On our visit to The Well, the service was attentive, friendly and efficient. With a big capacity and a large outdoor sheltered seating area with heating, plus there are lots of different activities throughout the week.

 

Texas Hold ‘Em Poker nights on Mondays (6pm rego with a 7pm start), Quiz Nights on Wednesdays and Ladies Night saturdays with $12 cocktails featuring espresso martinis, strawberry and lime caprioskas and the Wellard’s very own margarita hybrid “The Wellerita”! With Friday and Saturday nights plus Sunday afternoons typically showcasing live music there is a lot of vibrance to the crowd with energy and good times to be had.

The menu is loaded with pub classics and they seem to have a great chef. prices range from the low to high twenties, with more premium dishes such as the “Surf and Turf” costing $35.00. Vegetarian and gluten friendly options are also available on request and they offer a great Vietnamese squid salad – great value and a generous serve for $18.00.

Children have not been left out with a special kids menu that comes inclusive of a kids drink and activity pack. Five kids dishes ranging from fish and chips to spaghetti are all $12.00

They have a well stocked bar with all major spirits catered for and their drinks menu is six pages long! With ten beers on tap, an extensive wine list including rose and dessert wine, there is fun for the whole family at The Well.

 

At less than 5km drive from Sunrise estate, it provides another quality option for residents alongside the established cafes and eateries in and around Wellard.
